Nicholas is an award winning insurance agent/broker and insurance advisor from Connecticut. 



Nicholas focuses on The Affordable and Public Housing Industry for Commercial Property, Flood, General Liability, E&O, D&O, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, EPLI, Tenant Discrimination & other Commercial Lines Insurance. 



Nicholas also handles complex personal lines accounts through insurance companies like Chubb, AIG & PURE for High-Net Worth and Successful Individuals & Families.


Nicholas began working for The Russell Agency and was licensed in Connecticut in 2009. Nicholas went through the AIG High Net-Worth Solutions for HNWI, in New York City in 2010, and received his CPIA designation in early 2013. He has been a leader in providing clients, associates, and the insurance industry with up to date and accurate information on may pertinent insurance issues. In 2017 Nicholas graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in their Executive Education Program. 



Nicholas served as the Connecticut CTYIP Secretary (2012) and as President (2013 - 2015). He served as The PIA of Connecticut Business Issues Liaison (2014) and was the recipient of the CISR Scholarship by the Certified Insurance Counselors’ of Connecticut in 2012. He was Agent of the Year by the Connecticut CTYIP in 2014 and was the recipient of the coveted Fairfield County Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” award in 2014. In 2015 Nicholas was awarded The National Young Insurance Professional of the Year award by PIA National for his contributions to the insurance industry. 



Currently Nicholas serves as a Commissioner of a Taxing District in Connecticut (2014 to Present), A member of the West Haven City Council (2013 to Present) and is on the Board of Directors for the Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut (2018 to Present).
