Katie joined The Russell Agency in October of 2008. Katie earned her property and casualty license from the State of Connecticut in 2009 and worked in commercial lines for 5 years until becoming an agent/producer in 2014. She gained a lot of experience in both personal and commercial insurance by assisting customers with their insurance needs throughout the years. Katie assists both commercial and personal clients in obtaining customized insurance products to protect their families, homes, and business.

Katie obtained a bachelor’s degree in business and technology at the University of Connecticut (2004-2008) and in March of 2009 she attended a course at The Hartford School of Insurance, where she earned the designation CLCS. Also in 2015 she received the designation ACSR and in 2017 Katie earned her CPIA designation. She is working on obtaining the CPCU designation as well. Katie is active in the Connecticut Young Insurance Professionals, currently serving as the President of the association and is active on the legislative committee for the PIA of CT.

Katie lives in Monroe CT with her husband Eric and their daughter Olivia. She is active in the Rotary Club of Monroe and currently serving as President. She is very involved in the community events and volunteering to make the community a better place.
