James Bernatchez joined the Russell Agency in March of 2005 and received his Property & Casualty license in CT later that year.  He began his career in customer service, and later transitioned to a sales role, becoming an agent in 2017. He was selected to attended the AIG Private Client Group Sales School in 2017 and was thrilled to be one of the few invited back for their Advanced Sales School program later that year. He is also a proud member of the Connecticut Young Insurance Professionals.

James specializes in Personal Lines Insurance, where he enjoys working with clients to provide custom tailored risk management solutions based on their family’s needs. His expertise in insurance and proficiency in today’s digital world allows him the ability to deliver quality service for all.

James was born in Greenwich and grew up in the coastal town of Milford. His love of Milford and the beach, has kept him there into adulthood, where he enjoys kayaking and many other outdoor activities.
